Alternative Medicine Pathway

35 minutes
A first appointment to review your concerns, your current care and the options that suit you. After that, follow-up appointments, and nurse check-ins between them at no charge, so the plan can be adjusted as you go. This pathway isn’t right for everyone. If you’re unsure, book the free nurse call first.

Transfer of Care

30 minutes
Already with another alternative medicine provider? Begin again with Sohma House. We’ll review your treatment and records independently and keep the change simple and human, with follow-up and nurse check-ins once you’re with us.

Functional & Integrative Medicine Assessment

Time to see how the pieces fit. Your history, your results and the life around them, brought together into a prioritised plan. In person is preferred; phone and video are available too.

Focused Clinical Review

40 minutes
A focused review of your current treatment plan, new pathology or other results, or a concern you want looked at closely. It’s focused because you and your practitioner both come in with the context in hand. For new and existing patients.

How fees work.
All fees are in Australian dollars, and each appointment’s fee is confirmed before you book.
- Medicare
- Rebates may apply. Reception can confirm your expected rebate and out-of-pocket cost before you book, by phone or in person. Cameron’s consultations don’t attract a Medicare rebate.
- In person or telehealth
- The same fee either way. Medicare rebates are generally better for face-to-face visits, and telehealth rebates usually need one face-to-face visit with us in the past 12 months.
- Tests and medicines
- Anything beyond the appointment, like tests, medicines or other services, is discussed and priced separately, before it’s ordered.
- What a consultation covers
- A consultation doesn’t guarantee a particular treatment, or acceptance of a transfer of care.
